ASVS (Snake Venom Antiserum I.P)
Snake Venom Antiserum (Polyvalent) is a refined and concentrated preparation of serum globulins obtained by fractionating blood from healthy hyperimmunised horses. It is available in 2 forms – Lyophilized and Liquid. ViNS is one of the largest manufacturers of Anti-Snake Venom anti sera in the world and supplying the anti-sera to various part of the world.
Composition – Each ml serum contains antibodies that neutralize the following venoms
‘- 0.60 mg of dried Indian Cobra venom
‘- 0.45 mg of dried Common Krait venom
‘- 0.60 mg of dried Russell’s Viper venom
‘- 0.45 mg of dried Saw scaled Viper venom

BIOSNAKE (Snake Venom Antitoxin I.H.S)
Snake venom antitoxin polyvalent isprepared from purified plasma of healthyhorses, which have been hyperimmunizedagainst venoms of the most dangeroussnakes mentioned in the pack insert. The antitoxin ispurified from whole equine immune serumby pepsin digestion, controlled heating andcaprylic acid precipitation and ultra-filtrationfollowed by sterile filtration. It is intended foreither intramuscular injection or intravenousinfusion according to the severity of thecondition.
Composition – Each 1 ml serum contains antibodies that neutralize the following venoms
‘- Naja haje
‘- Naja nigricollis
‘- Cerastes Cerastes

AFRIVEN (Snake Venom Antiserum (African 10) I.H.S
Afriven (Lyophilised) is a sterile preparation contains equine immunoglobulin fragments F(ab’)2. Freeze dried powder is reconstituted with 10 ml of sterilised water for injections supplied along with the vial.
Composition – Each ml serum contains antibodies that neutralize the following venoms
VIPERIDAE: Echis ocellatus, Echis leucogaster, Echis pyramidum, Bitis arientans, Bitis rhinoceros, Bitis nasicornis,, Bitis gabonica.
ELAPIDAE: Dendroaspis polylepis, Dendroaspis viridis, Dendroaspis angusticeps, Dendroaspis jamesoni, Naja nigricollis, Naja melanoleuca, Naja haje, Naja pallida, Naja nivea, Naja senegalensis, Naja annulifera, Naja mossambica, Naja Ashei.

ECHIVEN (Snake Venom Antiserum (ECHIS) I.H.S)
Snake Venom Antiserum Echis is a sterile preparation containing equine immunoglobulin fragments F (ab’) 2. Freeze dried powder when reconstituted with 10mL of Sterilised Water for Injections B.P. supplied along with the vial.
The antitoxic equine immunoglobulin and their derivatives are obtained from the serum of healthy equines immunized against venom of the below species of snake.
Composition – Each 1 ml serum contains antibodies that neutralize the following venoms
‘- Echis ocellatus venom 40LD 50

PCAS
PCAS is prepared from purified plasma of healthy horses, which have been hyperimmunized against venoms of the most dangerous snakes in Philippines.
The antiserum is purified from whole equine immune serum by pepsin digestion, controlled heating and caprylic acid precipitation and ultra-filtration followed by sterile filtration.
Composition – Each 1 ml serum contains antibodies that neutralize the following venoms
‘- Naja Philippinensis
‘- Naja Samarensis
‘- Ophiophagus Hannah

Polyvalent anti-scorpion venom serum is prepared from the purified plasma of healthy horses, which have been hyperimmunized against venom of the most dangerous scorpions mentioned below. The antivenin is purified by pepsin degestion, controlled heating and precipitation by caprylic acid followed by sterilization.

‘- Androctonus ameoreuxi 35LD50
